How do I get an account?
It's a closed beta on my own server, so ask me for a signup code. Once you're in, it's free.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It's a web app. On iPhone (iOS 16.4 or later) open it in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen, and launch it from there so notifications work. On Android and desktop, Chrome offers to install it.
Where does my data go?
Addresses and travel-time readings live on my server. Google's traffic service sees the origin and destination of each check. Nothing is sold or shared, and you can delete a route and all its history any time.
Does it drain my battery or track my location?
No. The server does the watching; your phone only gets a notification. The app never reads your location.
What does "clear" mean?
Your choice per route: within a percentage of the empty-road time (say, no more than 15% slower), or under a fixed number of minutes. You can also ask for two clear readings in a row before it pings you.
